Where did God come from |
The question of where did God come from has been a great issue for never ending debates.
And this stems from a very common logic which is that every cause must have a cause.
To simply think of anything other than that is insanely foolish.
Or is it?
God is by definition a maximally perfect being. Part of this means that there can be no greater being than God.
Therefore, if something were to have created God, then whatever it was that created God would be more powerful than God, thus what we know of God wouldn’t actually be God.
God, by His very nature, is a non-contingent being.
Meaning, He is eternal, His existence is not dependent upon anything else. He has simply always existed.
